The Veiling of God's Word

In Second Corinthians 3:7-18, Paul argued that some Jews have put a veil over their face when they read the Old Testament, so that they do not see Jesus in it.
Likewise, the apostle stated that some people put a veil over their faces with the New Testament because they do not want to see what is in it, “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
God gave the Gospel of Jesus Christ to change us from looking like the world to looking like Jesus. Some people just do not want to make that change.
