The Curse of Judas

David said,
Let his days be few,
And let another take his office.
(Psalms 109:8)
Peter quoted that when the apostles needed to replace Judas as an apostle of Jesus Christ. Verses 9-20 also show that Judas and his family would experience more than his days being shortened and another taking his office of the apostleship.
Read Psalm 109:9-20 and weep for Judas for the suffering he brought on himself and upon his family. Judas should have been sitting on a throne next to the throne of God, but instead nothing but suffering for eternity shall Judas continue to experience.
He threw away so much. The sin of covetousness captured him. Let us avoid sin also that it not capture us and we lose everything.
