The Results of Our Foolishness

Sometimes we have trouble because of what someone else has done to us, but many times we have trouble because we have acted foolishly. As David said,
My wounds are foul and festering
Because of my foolishness.
(Psalms 38:5)
When enemies created trouble for David, he spoke of it freely to God. When David was the source of his own troubles, he again spoke of it freely to God, knowing that was the way to be free.
If you have brought trouble into your own life, admit it to God, and He will release you from the guilt that destroys your life.
