Acts 21 shows several times when people misunderstood Paul either intentionally or unintentionally. However, that did not stop the man from doing the Lord’s work. When Paul arrived in Jerusalem, he reported to the church of what God had done through him and his friends among the Gentiles. The Jerusalem Church responded well, “And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord” (Acts 21:20).
The church at Jerusalem liked hearing of the work in other places and did not believe they should only be concerned about doing work at home. We should rejoice whenever God works, whether at home or some place far away.
