Trust in the Lord's Mercy

David cried out to the Lord wanting to know how long before He would help David (Psalm 13:1, 2). He pled for the Lord to hear because the enemy was about to prevail against David (Psalm 13:3, 4). Yet, as in most psalms, the more he thought on the Lord, the more David knew how things would turn out and that he could trust the Lord’s mercy,
But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
(Psalms 13:5-6)
Whatever someone does to hurt you, appeal to God and think on who He is. Do not cease thinking of Him. You should then learn to trust Him more and peace shall fill your soul.
