Fleeing, But Still Preaching

Paul and Barnabas preached at Iconium, but trouble soon arose, “And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. And they were preaching the gospel there” (Acts 14:5-7).
The preachers got in trouble for preaching in one town, but that did not stop them. Granted, they had to flee, but when they arrived in a new place, they started preaching there. A fire burned in their hearts and they had to speak.
Do you know men like that? Pray for them that they be safe, but also that if they are not safe that they will not cease speaking the word of the Lord.
