A Great Journey Awaits You

Elijah gave up and wanted to die, but the Lord was not finished using the prophet. Therefore, the Lord sent an angel to Elijah to awaken him from his sleep, telling him to arise and eat the food and water that the angel had brought. Elijah did so, but went back to sleep. The angel had to awaken the prophet again, “And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said, ‘Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you'” (1 Kings 19:5-7).
Elijah thought he was done with his work, but the Lord said no.
We do not decide when we have had enough of God’s work. Remember when you became a Christian you confessed that Jesus is Lord, which implied that you were no longer the lord of your life. Therefore, He decides when He is done with us and then we can die and go to be with Him.
