Simon's Mother-in-Law

Simon Peter must have loved his mother-in-law, “Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her” (Luke 4:38).
Note these things:
1. Peter’s mother-in-law lived with him.
2. Peter had a mother-in-law, which disqualified him from being the first pope, because popes are not supposed to be married.
3. Peter’s mother-in-law was very sick and the family knew that Jesus could help her.
