Memorial Sites

God wanted Israel to take stones from the Jordan River and place them as a remembrance of the great event of crossing the river. “Then Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood; and they are there to this day” (Joshua 4:9).
At the time the Book of Joshua had been completed, the stones still remained in place. How long did they remain there? Are they still there today?
Memorial Sites provide a good service, if people pay attention.
