Helpers

Aaron and his sons had a huge responsibility as the high priests. However, they could not do everything. To help them, the Lord designated the rest of the tribe of Levi, “They shall attend to your needs and all the needs of the tabernacle; but they shall not come near the articles of the sanctuary and the altar, lest they die–they and you also” (Numbers 18:3). Verses 4-7 explained further that the regular priests were to help the high priests, but that the regular priests did not have authority to do what the high priests did.
Why does God use one person for a particular work, but not you, and why does God use you for a particular work, but not someone else? He runs the show and can do as He pleases and as He knows best. If I cannot do a particular work, can I assist the person who is doing it?
