The Disciples Went to Jesus

A large crowd followed Jesus to a deserted place. As night approached, the disciples foresaw a problem. Mark wrote, “When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, ‘This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat'” (Mark 6:35-36).
Congratulate the disciples for going to Jesus about this problem. They proposed a solution to Him. However, read on in the text to see what Jesus counter proposed.
Look at the multitudes around you. Go to God with a solution for feeding the people spiritual food. Prepare yourself for Him to reject that solution and present another for you to carry out. Then again, He might use your plan. Either way, go to Him and see what He wants done.
