What Jesus Did

While John the Baptizer was in prison, he heard of the works of Jesus and sent two disciples to ask whether Jesus was the Coming One, or should they look for someone else. Jesus told the two disciples of John that they should go back to him and report on what they had heard and seen, namely, “The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them” (Matthew 11:5).
Similarly, many in our secular society have problems accepting the teachings of Jesus and of the rest of Scripture. However, those people need to see how the teachings affect people. If someone lives out the teachings and commands of Jesus and of the rest of the Bible, how does it show up in that person’s life?
If you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, how does it show up in your life?
