Work Hard For Your Employer

Jacob could say in honesty to his wives, “And you know that with all my might I have served your father” (Genesis 31:6).
Yet, Laban took advantage of Jacob. Nevertheless, he still did the right thing by working hard for his employer. We should too, even if it is not recognized or appreciated, or even if the employer takes advantage of us. There may come a time when we have to leave, as Jacob did, but until that time, we should work as though we are working for Christ Himself.
