Satan Always Disagrees With God

God said that if Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would die. However, the serpent through whom Satan worked contradicted that, saying, “You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4).
To me, the first time we hear from Satan in the Bible represents what we hear from Satan any other time in the Bible and what we hear from him in the world. If God says one thing, Satan says the opposite. Does Satan ever agree with God? I doubt it.
If you hear something that contradicts the Bible, you can be sure Satan is behind it. Get away from it immediately!

  1. May God help us to stand firm on His Word, be always and in every way and circumstance faithful to it, and get away from anything and everything that is contrary to His good will.
