The Enemy's Banner

There are two opposing banners in the Book of Revelation, because they represent the opposing forces that war for the souls of the people of the earth, especially the war in the spirit that is fought between the Lord and Satan. We read of one banner already. Who is able to stand before the wrath of the Lamb? (Revelation 6:16, 17).
Then Revelation 13 shows the dragon, who is the devil bringing up a beast out of the sea, which is the beast of Rome, and John wrote, “So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?'” (Revelation 13:4).
The Lamb of God is greater than the beast of Rome, demonstrated by the fact that the Roman Empire disappeared. The Lamb of God and His people made war with the beast and won!
Who would you pick to win a battle between a lamb and a seven-headed, leopard-like beast that had feet like a bear and a mouth like a lion, and who received power from Satan?
The world will always pick the beast, which is why more side with him, but those who know the God of heaven, know that He can send a meek and lowly Lamb and He will tread down the beast! Amen! Praise God!
