God Did Not Spare Angels

When someone creeps into the church and perverts the grace of God, Jude wanted us to know that God will not spare such a person, for as Jude says, “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day…” (Jude 6).
Angels, who are greater in power and might than humans, God reserves in everlasting chains, holding them in darkness until the final Judgment. What then about us? Yes, we do have the grace of God to cover us, but let us not see that as license to sin.
Grace is encouragement to do better the next time. We have sinned, but God gives us another opportunity to start over, in a sense, and we want to use that to walk in truth, not in sin.
