Rejoice When Christians Walk in Truth

Many Christians function like the Pharisees who watched Jesus to make a mistake. You will only hear from those Christians when you have done something wrong. However, John was not like that. He wrote to a lady, “I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father” (2 John 4).
Why do we have to be crabby with one another? It is not “liberal” to rejoice when people walk in the truth and in the commandments of the Father. It is scriptural to rejoice under those circumstances and it is righteous to tell people that they are doing the right thing.
Make a point of that this week. Look for Christians who do the right thing and support them, telling them that you rejoice for what they have done.
