Blessing By Faith

As the writer of the Book of Hebrews shows us God’s Hall of Faith, the writer spoke of a man and his two sons, “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come” (Hebrews 11:20).
I often think of the wrong that Esau committed and how he was not blessed as Jacob was, nevertheless, the Bible does say that Isaac blessed Esau. Esau received a blessing from his father because Isaac was a man of faith, and Esau also believed in the Lord God.
We receive blessings by our faith and by our faith we give blessings. Jesus taught us to bless (Matthew 5:44). Therefore, we can bless others by faith. Do you do that? Find people and reasons to bless them today, even if the blessing only takes the form of a prayer that you utter at the moment in your heart. Also, find reasons to tell people, “God bless you.”
