Even Believers Did Not Enter God's Rest

The writer of the Book of Hebrews urges us to obey God. Then the writer used Israel as an illustration of why obedience is a must. The Israelites in the wilderness did not enter God’s rest, although they had been believers, but they did not continue in obedience. The writer continued, “For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: ‘So I swore in My wrath, “They shall not enter My rest,”‘ although the works were finished from the foundation of the world” (Hebrews 4:3).
Although God had prepared things for the Israelites from the foundation of the world that did not mean He would ignore their perpetual disobedience.
The writer’s point is that the same applies to us. God has prepared things for us, but if we insist on disobedience, we will not enter His rest.
Is there something that He tells you to do in the word, but you have refused to do?
