The Final Spokesman

The writer of the Book of Hebrews jumped right into his subject with both feet, saying, “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son…” (Hebrews 1:1-2a).
I have always liked the way the writer did that, and so I start my sermons the same way, forgoing the greetings and so on (But not because I think greetings are wrong), and I get right into my message.
The writer wanted to put Jesus before us. Here is how God spoke in the past, using various ways and speaking at different times, and using many speakers, but in these last days, He chose one Spokesman, His Son!
Do you know just how high this Spokesman is? Read the rest of Hebrews 1 and find out.
