Work Toward Being of the Same Mind

A problem existed in the Philippian Church that has existed throughout the ages. Listen to Paul urging two women in the church to have the same mind, “I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life” (Philippians 4:2-3).
Here were two sisters in Christ who could not get along. Therefore, the Holy Spirit through Paul pleaded with these women to come together, but Paul also put the rest of the church under obligation to help these women. They had worked together before, even with Paul and others. What a tragedy that they had separated in mind.
What do you think the rest of the members of the church should have done to help these women?
