Beautiful, Lovely, and Awesome

What was Solomon’s bride to him? See the picture he painted of her,
O my love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah,
Lovely as Jerusalem,
Awesome as an army with banners!
(Song 6:4)
He saw her beauty, loveliness, and awesomeness.
He compared her beauty to a place in Manasseh, known for its beauty. One of the kings of the northern kingdom of Israel even established Tirzah as the residence of the kings, no doubt because of its beauty.
Solomon said that his bride was as lovely as Jerusalem, which was his royal city, the place where he had built the temple of Yahweh God and had made his own residence there.
How does a king feel when his army marches by him in parade form, holding banners showing to whom they belong? That is how the Shulamite made Solomon feel.
What should we try to be for our spouse?
