Receive God's Grace

Paul begged the Corinthian Christians to have a right relationship with God’s grace, saying, “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain” (2 Corinthians 6:1).
Since Paul and his fellow-workers worked together with God, they all pleaded with the church in Corinth not to receive the grace of God in vain. While grace is unmerited favor, we still have to respond to it as God desires.
When preachers proclaim the word of God, God works through those preachers. Therefore, you do well for yourself by listening to what they say and by doing what they say.
