Submit to God

Why does God do this or that? Why has He put me in these circumstances? Why does He allow things to happen? These legitimate questions we ask help us to serve God better by enabling us to discover His will for our lives.
Then again, we can ask those questions, calling God’s wisdom and judgment into question. In that case, these are not good questions, and Paul would say, “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, ‘Why have you made me like this?'” (Romans 9:20).
We can never forget who is God. We are not God, He is. Therefore, we work with the situation before us to His glory and He honors us by allowing us to partake of His glory.
