Do Not Let My Sin Hurt Others

David pleaded with God,
Let not those who wait for You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed because of me;
Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.
(Psalm 69:6).
David knew his sin, and he knew the affect it could have on others. Therefore, he was willing to bear the blame himself and he did not want others to suffer for what he had done. He had a heart like God’s because he did not think of himself, but of others.
Be like David, having a heart after God’s by thinking of others.
