Walking With Falsehood

Job began to list possible sins, that if he had committed them, he was willing to suffer accordingly. He said,
“If I have walked with falsehood,
Or if my foot has hastened to deceit,
Let me be weighed on honest scales,
That God may know my integrity.”
(Job 31:5-6)
Job had enough confidence in the way that he had lived, that if God weighed him in scales, Job knew that it would show he had not deceived anyone, but had been a man of integrity.
Yet, Satan targeted Job’s integrity, seeking to bring him down by tempting him to curse God. Since Job had been a man of integrity, he remained loyal to God during heavy temptation.
