Just and God-Fearing Rulers

David said that the God of Israel spoke, saying that he who rules over men must be just and rule in the fear of God, and if the ruler does so,
“And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises,
A morning without clouds,
Like the tender grass springing out of the earth,
By clear shining after rain.”
(2 Samuel 23:4)
You may not rule over a nation, but there is some place in your life where you have authority or influence over someone. Be just and remember the fear of God. If you do, you will be a welcome sight, like the sun rising on a cloudless morning or like the new grass that springs out of the earth after a refreshing rain.
Try it and see what happens.
