A Wide Open Request With No Conditions

Listen to this carefully, “Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, ‘Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask'” (Mark 10:35).
Wow! Did you hear the two brothers? They did not preface their request with something such as, Lord, if you are pleased with us…, or Lord, if it is your will…
No, they simply said we want whatever we ask and we want you to do it for us. Yet, they must have felt comfortable enough with Jesus to make such a request. They saw what He did for everyone else. Why then could they not make a huge request?
Do you think you could approach God with such a request?
