Asking Others to Serve

The Lord spoke to Aaron, “Also bring with you your brethren of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the tabernacle of witness” (Numbers 18:2).
As the high priest of Israel, he and his sons had plenty of work to do. They would need assistance and Aaron had to go to his tribe and ask them for that assistance. Nevertheless, the Lord wanted Aaron to gather his brethren from the tribe of Levi to do this important work.
Some people find it hard to ask others for assistance and others find it way too easy, expecting others to do everything for them.
Do the work the Lord commands you to do, but allow others to do their work also, even if it includes helping you, or perhaps you are the one to help them. Either way, we work together for the Lord’s pleasure.
