Jesus Sent Disciples on a Mission

Jesus told two of His disciples to do something, but He did not tell them why they were to do it, “Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, ‘Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, “The Lord has need of them,” and immediately he will send them'” (Matthew 21:1-3).
What was that all about? Well, you probably know because you have already read it. However, when He sent them into that village and told them what to do when they got there, and even what to say if someone objected, He did not reveal to them why they were to fetch those animals.
Evidently, they did not need to know the why, because they went and did as He commanded.
Can you do that with Him? Does He teach and command things with which you either disagree or want all the whys explained first? If He is the Lord and you are His disciple, why can you not just do what He says regardless of whether you know the reason for it? If He reveals the reason, fine. If not, do you trust Him? Have you confessed that Jesus is Lord? If you said it with your mouth, why can you not say it with your hands and your feet?
