The Lord Makes Jobs Easier

The Jews experienced tough times, although they were back in their land. Their enemies oppressed them, and the economy was bad. Nevertheless, the Lord promised that they would do well. One of the ways He pictured that was this way,
“Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!'”
(Zechariah 4:7)
The great obstacle before Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, God would make into a plain, making it easy for Zerubbabel to travel. That pictured the Lord making it easy for Zerubbabel and the Jews to finish work on the temple, which the Lord made plain in the last two lines of the verse above.
Because the mountain would become a plain, Zerubbabel would be able to place the last stone on the temple, all the while shouting, “Grace.”
Do you live within the will of God? Seek His will in all that you do, and then seek His blessings in all those things. If He wants you to do the project that you have contemplated, He shall turn the mountains of obstacles into plains.
