Spiritual Gifts and Idols

To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 12.
Paul had imparted to the Corinthian Christians miraculous gifts, giving them abilities they never had when they worshiped idols (First Corinthians 12:1, 2). Somehow they were led astray by idols that could not talk, but when they received miraculous ability from the Holy Spirit, the Corinthians knew that things were different.
Therefore, Paul said to them, “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit” (First Corinthians 12:3).
While under the influence of idolatry, the Corinthians might have called Jesus accursed, but under the influence of the Holy Spirit, they would not do such a thing, but they would confess that Jesus is Lord.
What do you say about Jesus and what made you say it?
