God and Israel; God and the Church

To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 10:1-13.
The Israelites in the wilderness had many of the experiences that we have as Christians. They were all baptized and ate and drank from the same spiritual food and drink that we have, which is Christ (First Corinthians 10:1-4).
Then Paul said boldly, “But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness” (First Corinthians 10:5).
If they had the same spiritual experiences as we do, but through their lust, idolatry, immorality, tempting of Christ, and complaining, God was not well pleased with them, killing them in the wilderness, will He be pleased with us, if we do the same things they did?
