Sing Songs of Rejoicing

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 105 and 106.
Yes, we have trials and tribulations and we need to sing about those things, singing that God helps us through all those things. We also need to sing of His mighty deeds. Let us sing songs that lift up our souls that we might rejoice that we are God’s children.
The psalmist called upon us to give thanks to the Lord, making known His deeds among the peoples (Psalm 105:1), and we should do that because the peoples of the world do not know the wonders of our God.
Therefore, let our songs do what the psalmist continued to say,
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD!
(Psalm 105:2, 3)
