God and Israel

To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 11:1-21.
Paul argued that in the first century, Israel, for the most part, had cast away God. Does that mean God in turn had cast away Israel? Paul said, “I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew” (Romans 11:1, 2). Paul’s acceptance of Christ and in turn God’s acceptance of Paul, showed that God intended on receiving Israelites again.
God wants them as much as He wants anyone. When a Christian casts God away, He does not decide never to receive that Christian back, but very much wants one of His children to return to Him.
God loves you. Do not cast Him away, for if you do and you never remedy the situation, then at the Judgment He will cast you away forever, something that He does not want to do.
