When the Wicked Do Well

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 73 and 74.
You do your best to do everything right, yet, you have a hard time getting ahead in this world. Those not Christians cheat and lie, but they seem to have no problem getting ahead. Is it time to give up and join the wicked?
Asaph wondered the same thing (Psalm 73:0). He knew that God was good to Israel (Psalm 73:1). However, Asaph struggled with something. He said,
But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;
My steps had nearly slipped.
(Psalm 73:2)
What was it Asaph? What so troubled you that although you knew God to be good to Israel, you were tempted to fall away? Asaph continued,
For I was envious of the boastful,
When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
(Psalm 73:3)
He looked at their lives and compared his life to theirs and concluded that it might be better to live wickedly. Then he discovered something. Read Psalm 73 to find out what he discovered.
