Remember That God Is Your Helper!

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 70-72.
Trouble comes and we forget the help that is on our side. David wrote a song to help us remember our Helper and that is the reason for Psalm 70 (Psalm 70:0).
David began pleading for God to hurry and help (Psalm 70:1), because someone sought to hurt David, but he knew that God could help (Psalm 70:2, 3). Therefore, David encouraged us to seek the Lord,
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
And let those who love Your salvation say continually,
“Let God be magnified!”
(Psalm 70:4)
Seek God’s help, wanting Him to be magnified in your life and you will rejoice and be glad. We will rejoice when we seek His help, because, as David continued to say,
But I am poor and needy;
Make haste to me, O God!
You are my help and my deliverer;
O LORD, do not delay.
(Psalm 70:5)
You might think you are unworthy for God to help, or that your cause is not grand enough, but trust the Lord and He shall come down and help you.
