Judgment in Truth

To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 2.
Does my righteous judging of a person excuse my participation in the same sin? No, but many people think that way. Paul said, “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things” (Romans 2:1). He wrote further that God’s judgment is against sin, and it does not make a difference whether we condemn others for the same sin, we are still guilty, “But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things” (Romans 2:2).
Yes, we want to turn others from sin. However, if I see others doing something that I also practice, I have to clean up my own act before I can say anything.
