Silently Wait for God

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 62-64.
David had Jeduthun put Psalm 62 to music, for the poem truly speaks of something worth singing (Psalm 62:0). Someone attacked David, spreading lies about him, because this enemy blessed David with the mouth, but inwardly the enemy cursed David (Psalm 62:3, 4). However, he waited for his true Help, who was the Lord,
Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.
(Psalm 62:1, 2)
Do not become impatient, for God will deliver and show the right at the time He knows is best. Therefore, wait silently for Him, not worrying or becoming exasperated. Be at peace and God shall silence the enemy.
