A Magnificent Greeting

To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 1.
Paul showed the gravity with which he took his faith, writing to the Romans that he was a bondservant of Jesus Christ and an apostle for spreading the prophesied gospel concerning God’s Son Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1-3). We know Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, because He was born of the seed of David, but the resurrection showed more than anything that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Romans 1:3, 4). Through this Jesus Paul received grace and apostleship to lead people to obedience to the faith that they might be the called of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:5, 6).
After introducing himself, Paul then addressed the Christians in Rome in this magnificent way, “To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 1:7). Every child of God who walks in His grace daily, can be so designated. You are beloved of God and He sees you as a saint! Receive His grace and peace and enjoy them!
