To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 47–49.
The sons of Korah wrote many psalms that God preserved in the Bible, and we wonder how many did God not preserve (Psalm 47:0). They began Psalm 47 with this mighty encouragement,
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
Why did the sons of Korah sound so exuberant? They proclaimed that the Lord Most High is awesome, since He is the great King over all the earth and subdues all the peoples under His own people and gives them a wonderful inheritance (Psalm 47:2–4).
I have a question for you. Are those reasons enough for you to get excited about praising God?
