Sing to God a Prayer

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 4–6.
The preface to Psalm 4 says, “To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David” (Psalm 4:0). Therefore, what you read in Psalm 4, David intended to be sung. He began by pleading with God,
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
(Psalm 4:1)
God loves to hear us pray and He loves to hear us sing. Combine both in the name of Jesus Christ, and you have a sure recipe for success with your petitions before the God of heaven.
