Church Leaders Working Together

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 15:22–41.
A problem arose in the church and the elders and preachers got together to discuss resolving the issue. Luke wrote, “Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren” (Acts 15:22). Some people say the elders can only work with each other, but elders are wise to consult with other church leaders, as well as the whole church, to make decisions, just as they did in the passage above.
