Making a Difference in People's Lives

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 9:23-43.
Most people in the church want to see many people become Christians. However, it often takes doing something radical to convince people to follow Christ and to become members of the church. It is not as hard as you might suspect. It all starts with loving people.
Peter found a man who had been paralyzed eight years and healed him. Here was the result, “So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord” (Acts 9:35). All the people who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw a radical change in the life of a man and wanted what he had, and so, they turned to the Lord. No, we cannot work miracles, but we can do something greater. Love people. Love those who are difficult to love. You will change some, others will see it, and you may gain new members of the church.
