“Look At Us”

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 3.
Two of the apostles went to the temple in Jerusalem and a lame man saw them and asked for alms (Acts 3:1–3). However, Peter looked at the man and said, “Look at us” (Acts 3:4). Why did Peter say that? Even as Jesus had said to the woman at the well that salvation was of the Jews (John 4:22), so now salvation is of the church. Therefore, that man needed to look at preachers of the church. Peter did not say that in arrogance, but with a sincere desire to help the man.
Are you ashamed of the church? Do you realize why the church is on earth?
