The Spirit Kicked-Started the Church

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 2:1–13.
The Jews and the Romans conspired to kill Jesus and they succeeded. However, He raised Himself from the dead and forty days later ascended into heaven. He allowed all of that for the world’s benefit, but the world could not benefit from it until the world learned of it. The apostles did not quite know what to do. Then this happened, “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1–4). Jesus baptized His apostles in the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit moved those men to start preaching and they never stopped until the day they died. The church has continued that effort to this very hour and because of that you know the truth and have obeyed it.
Now what shall you do?
