Do Not Mock Preachers

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 2:14–47.
The Holy Spirit enabled the apostles to speak in the different languages of the Jews who had gathered in Jerusalem for the Day of Pentecost. Since the people mingled, when they heard apostles speaking in a language that the listeners did not know, they concluded that the preachers were drunk. However, Peter declared, “For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel…” (Acts 2:15, 16). Then Peter quoted from the Book of Joel (Acts 2:17–21; Joel 2:28–32). After having established that, he did not continue to labor on that point, but moved to preaching Jesus.
Mock a preacher, but he will dispense with your mockery and then show you how to be saved.
