The Standard for Kings

To read the Bible in a year, read Second Chronicles 29–31.
After Hezekiah became king of Judah (2Chronicles 29:1), the Bible says this of him, “And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done” (v. 2). Hezekiah did the right thing just as David had done. David was Hezekiah’s model for a king.
Can you find someone in the Bible who did what you do that you might use him or her as your example for righteousness?
