Seeing, Not Seeing, and Seeing Again

To read the Bible in a year, read John 16:16–33.
Jesus told His disciples, “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father” (John 16:16). They saw Him, then they would not see Him, and then they would see Him again. They did not realize that He spoke to them of His death and resurrection, a truly marvelous thing that He would do for them and for us.
Likewise, we see each other, and then we will not see each other, and then we will see each other again, if we walk with Jesus. We see each other now, then Christians die and we do not see them, until we join them, and eventually the Lord shall raise all of us from the grave.
