Jesus Knew That Judas Knew

To read the Bible in a year, read John 18:1–23.
Jesus went to a garden with His disciples, but notice this, “And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples. Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons” (John 18:2, 3). Jesus knew that Judas would know where they would be. Yet, Jesus still went there. He knew what His Father wanted and Jesus would not turn away from it for anything. Jesus knew that Judas would show up at that garden at that time with armed men. Yet, Jesus still went there. Why did He do it? He did it that you might have eternal life.
Think the rest of the day on what Jesus faced willingly for your sake.
